We engineer infrastructure across the full lifecycle — from the assessment and strengthening of historically significant structures to the design of modern road and rail bridges, cut-and-cover tunnels, retaining walls, culverts and other engineering structures. Beyond structural and geotechnical design, we coordinate closely with clients, contractors and utility stakeholders to turn design intent into solutions that are buildable, on programme and built to last.
For bridge assets, we draw on our own proprietary structural health monitoring (SHM) technology, developed in-house, to support condition assessment and long-term performance tracking throughout the asset’s life.
Sustainability and whole-life performance are at the heart of how we work. In line with PAS 2080, we favour retaining, strengthening and extending existing structures over full replacement wherever feasible, reducing embodied carbon while designing for durability and low maintenance in demanding environmental and traffic conditions. Where appropriate, we plan for inspection, maintenance access and remote structural health monitoring from the earliest design stages.
Our portfolio spans road and rail bridges, cut-and-cover tunnels, retaining structures, culverts and a wide range of other engineering assets serving transport networks. For every commission, we tailor our deliverables to the client and the project, apply our CRAFT philosophy, and use digital-twin workflows to keep coordination tight and clashes out of the field, delivering infrastructure that is resilient, durable and ready to perform.
Our component-based bridge approach moves most of the work off-site to accelerate delivery, raise quality, and reduce programme risk. Technical details are available only under NDA
